"So… so you're Jack Frost?  I'm… not dreaming, am I?" You ask, a bit dazed.  Understandable, after a teenage boy just popped out of thin air and ran you over.

The silver-haired boy grins, saying, "I am in fact Jack Frost, and this is no dream.  I can hardly believe myself that you can see me though!  I mean, I knew that Jamie's plan would work, of course, but… I'm finally meeting you!  Jamie's told me all about you."

"Oh really?"  Your eyes slide over to your friend, who shrugs at you.

"You are my best friend after all, [y/n]," he simply says.

"Well, you're mine too, Jamie," you smile.

The next thing you know, you're waking up in your own bed.  You blink a few times, still half asleep, when suddenly, you remember.  You sit bolt upright, looking around.  With the day you had yesterday, you feel as though something should be different.  Nothing is though.  'Could it have just been a dream?' You wonder.  Though the thought saddens you, because it is possible, even probable, that it didn't actually happen, you'll live.  It's not like you've never had a ridiculous crush before…  Sighing, you climb out of bed, getting changed out of your sweats and t-shirt and into a sweater and a pair of jeans.  When you're dressed and ready to

The next time you wake up, you're curled up in an afghan in front of a roaring fire in a gargantuan fireplace.  'Now where on Earth is this place?' you think as you sit up, wrapping your arms around your knees.  You have a few minutes of silence before a girl's voice cries out, "She's awake, everyone!  [y/n] is awake!  You can come in, now!"  You whip your head around, only to see a woman, covered from head to toe - the only exception being her face - with feathers of all different hues.  

"Well this is the oddest and most imaginative dream I've had in a while," you say aloud, gazing at the beautiful woman in wonder.

The past hour has been spent showing you around North's -as you now know he's called - workshop.  As you followed him through the chaos of Yetis and elves, he explained to you with a Russian accent that when you arrived, you'd had severe frostbite in your hands due to the fact that the melted snow that your mittens soaked up froze again.  He'd fixed them up to the best of his ability, though, so your fingers should be totally fine, soon.  Emphasis on should be.  North made it clear to you that he had done all that he possibly could to save your fingers, but it was now up to fate to decide whether they would heal or not.

Not being able to take it any longer, you swing your legs into the hole, then let yourself fall.  Slipping and sliding through underground chutes, you would almost want to laugh, if not for the dark atmosphere that grows the farther down you fall.  Finally, you land with a soft thump in an empty room.  Quickly, you pull yourself up and run down a flight of packed dirt steps, taking two at a time, until you reach the bottom and enter another, larger cavern.  Your footsteps are soft, you yourself can hardly even hear them, but as soon as you walk in, Pitch's gold eyes flick to you as he says, "Ah, here she is!  Just the girl I wanted to see!"

"Jamie, do we have to go today?  It's absolutely freezing," you whine, your cheeks already flushed from the cold.

"Aw, come on, [y/n]!  It's not that bad out!"  The brunette boy tugs on your hand again, pulling you after him, each of you carrying skates in your other hands.  You sigh, and he laughs, knowing you aren't going to disappoint him.  Soon enough you arrive at the frozen-over pond, and the both of you sit down on a snow-covered fallen log to put on your skates.  Jamie has his on within a minute, while you fumble, still struggling to lace yours.  Without saying a word, your excessively tall younger friend kneels down and laces them f

Where could he have taken her?  I swear, if it's someplace that I know, that I could easily get to, I'm going to mentally die, rip all of my hair out, dig a hole for myself, and never come out.  In that order.  I've already checked and double checked every single underground cavern that Pitch every crawled into, every city that he's taken a special liking to, and everywhere he was linked to in his previous life.  Zip.  Nothing.  Nada.  Pitch Black and [f/n] [l/n] are nowhere to be found.  What kind of hell could he have taken her to???

Unfortunately, all of us know that we aren't going to be able to find out what Pitch wants until we go.  So, we are going… Just not all of us.  Well… only [y/n] in particular.  I voice this, earning agreement - shockingly - from Bunny, Sandy, and also North.  Tooth doesn't answer, but looks away, thinking.  [y/n] doesn't seem to see eye to eye on this matter, though.

"Jack, you can't just tell me to sit back and wait when things get tough," she says stubbornly.

"[y/n], this isn't just tough.  It's downright dangerous!  And you don't even have anything to protect yourself with… no powers or magic.  You wouldn't stand a chance!

When the blindfold of sand is finally pulled off of your eyes, you're on a frozen tundra, your only "company" being Pitch.  

"I'm not sure if Jack told you about the little deal he and I struck up here, but either way, I like reusing useful places."  He flashes a secretive grin to go along with his ominous words.  You don't even want to know what sort of deal he tried to make with your winter spirit.  Maybe later you'll be curious about that, but for now, you need to know what he wants with you.

"Why did you need me so bad that you had to kidnap my friend?" You demand.

"Well, Jack's been keeping such a close eye on you, so that was the qui

Who knows how long later, your [e/c] eyes snap open.  The first thing you see is the moon through an open skylight.  The second, a roaring fire.  The third, is Jack.

He doesn't notice you're awake though.  His head is in his hands, silvery-white hair poking out between his fingers.  Your fingers and head are throbbing along with the beating of your heart, but you don't care.

"Jack!" You exclaim, successfully getting his attention.  He raises his head, practically disbelieving at first, then when he sees you sitting up with your eyes open, a smile slowly makes an entrance onto his face.  The teenage boy rushes over, sweeping you into his arm

Nipping At Your Nose (Jack Frost X Reader, Part 2)

"Alright, Jamie.  I'll pay attention.  I don't see how you're going to be able to make me believe, though," you say, becoming a bit melancholy.  The cold gets you like this sometimes.  Brings you down.  Usually not though, so you're hopeful that after Jamie's done, you'll get back to doing fun things.  

"First things first.  Do you know what Jack Frost does?" He asks.

"Well, he supposedly brings the frost, of course, and snow.  Can't he make wind, too?  I think I read that in a children's book or something once, a long time ago.  Basically, he changes the season to winter."  Jamie nods, content with your answer.  Just then, a cold wind starts up, blowing your [h/l] [h/c] locks into your face.  Pushing them back, you shiver, and pull your [f/c] scarf up higher on your face.  

"You know what else Jack does?" Jamie asks as the wind continues.  You shake your head no.

"He's doing it now.  Nipping at your nose."  

You give him a small smile, saying, "Well, maybe that's so, but how would I be able to tell it's not just normal old wind?"  The brunette pauses for a moment, looking around at the ice, before saying bluntly, "How about that?"  You follow his eyes to the far side of the pond, not seeing anything at first.  Key words: at first.  After a moment, you see feathery patterns appearing on the ice, swirling around in an intricate dance, heading towards you.  

"What's that?" You gasp.  

"That would be Jack."  'There's no possible explanation for this!  Unless… it really is…'  Your thought gets cut off though, when suddenly, he materializes.  And is coming straight at you in a blur of silvers and blues.  Quite fast, too.  You take too long to process that, and the next thing you know, the boy is on top of you on the ice.  His legs straddle yours, as he stares at you in awe.  His ice blue eyes are wide with surprise, his silvery-white hair blowing gently in the breeze.  Then, he shakes his head, jumping off of you, landing on his bare feet and adjusting his blue hoodie sweatshirt with the same feathery frost patterns that appeared on the ice, and picks up his gnarled staff.  

"I didn't pass through you…  My God… can… can you see me?" The teenage boy asks.  You slowly nod, still gaping, your [e/c] eyes as big as saucers.  Realizing this, you shut your mouth, averting your gaze, and allow him to effortlessly tug you to your feet.  

"I think that this is the most opportune moment ever to just put it out there that… I TOLD YOU SO!" Jamie shouts, throwing his head back in gleeful laughter.  Boy, is he right about that.
